The Bead Project is a scholarship program for creatively inclined, economically disadvantaged women. Over the course of ten classes at UrbanGlass, students learn flame-working and glass bead-making,&nbsp;basic jewelry fabrication techniques, and entrepreneurial&nbsp;skills to develop a business plan, including online promotional tools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">For the 20th anniversary exhibit, Bead Project alumnae submitted many types of work \u00e2\u20ac\u201d jewelry, sculpture, wall-hung work and more.
