In 2011, in conjunction with my Brooklyn Love Exchange project, sponsored in part by a NYC Department of Cultural Affairs regrant from BAC, I collected love stories on site at the Dumbo Arts Festival, filling in gaps in my hand stitched map. My friend, Luke Hoorelbeke shot this footage for me of my interviews. I wasn’t mic’ed, and he didn’t always even turn on the sound. So I added in my own narration, reconnecting with visitors like Camie Fung and her husband, who are about to have their 7th wedding anniversary, and Cynthia Alberto of Weaving Hand.
